På nettsamfunnet, artifolio, hvor jeg har en kunstnerprofil, har jeg fått følgende kommentar på portrettet over, "Lille venn"/ "Darling". Utrolig lærerikt å få personlige tilbakemeldinger som dette fra andre kunstnere der ute i den enorme verden! :D

This is a difficult subject to render in pencil. As I'm sure you found out trying to reproduce the almost transparent quality of an infant's skin is incredibly difficult. Also the tonal range is very narrow which makes any lines look deeper and more pronounced.
I think you have created a fine piece of work. Sometimes the process (graphite/drawing) produces and unexpected result due to the limitations of the medium. When I look at this work I see a very young baby and and very old person in the same face. I find the image both thought provoking and beautiful.

Thank you for your comment! You are very right about the fact that its extremely difficult to reproduce an infant's skin! I found this piece of work as a challenge, but I'm happy about the result:)
Though, I believe we all are old reborn souls:)
